The Clockwise, Leicester's Credit Union is a non-profit making organisation, set up to assist local people to manage their financial affairs, through advice, easy and safe saving schemes for all age groups and low cost loans. We run a community group for deafblind women in Leicester. It runs once per month. We are aware that there are hundreds of deafblind women in Leicester but unfortunately we are in contact with very few.

The network is a great way to meet other people
who are experiencing similar challenges, have fun and learn lots of interesting things. if you are not keen on the network we can also provide in depth personal and confidential support relating to your deafblindness in your own home.

The Saffron Resource Centre exists to provide a wide range of support services for local people. Extensive youth work, elderly care and a mobility project, welfare rights, debt and education advice, drugs, alcohol, health and pregnancy counselling, as well as tenancy support and an environmental project are all available at the centre.

My name is Adill Khonat and I am an individual running a community project targeting young/single parents in the Leicester area. In brief, the project involves empowering young single parents develop themselves personally and professionally whilst overcoming the negative stigma attached to them. This would be achieved through workshops on entrepreneurship whilst equipping them with the needed skills to start their own businesses. All the workshops are free and will be held in a city centre location.
